I also see a change in purchasing behavior, not limited to Indonesia alone, but also noticeable in the Netherlands. People embrace the value of quality production and demonstrate a greater understanding of craftsmanship. Brands such as Daily Paper, which originated in Africa, are praised for their commitment to quality.

For me it’s about the magic of discovering, seeing and experiencing. I celebrate the interaction with people, the unpredictability of the unknown and learning as essential aspects of this adventure. I long for my next trip and the moment when the wheels of the plane touch the ground in the country I consider ‘home’. It’s more than just a physical journey; it is an emotional journey to the core of passion and identity. I see a city like Bandung not only as a place of craftsmanship, but also as a symbol of change, growth and the endless search for authenticity.
